Experience
Konrad specialises in non-contentious trusts, pensions, corporate and insurance matters. He advises on retirement benefit schemes, employee benefit schemes and share option schemes as well as all regulatory matters relevant to the trust and company administration sector. Konrad also advises on the structuring and establishment of corporate vehicles and has a particular interest in non-contentious insurance matters and insurance regulation.
Career
Konrad qualified as a South African Attorney and Conveyancer in 1984, and as a Notary Public in 1985. He became a partner in the firm Jan S de Villiers, a leading Cape Town legal practice, where he eventually became head of litigation. Konrad came to Guernsey in 2001 to join the firm. He became an Advocate in 2005 and a partner in January 2006.
