A former Commissioner of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, Nigel is a highly acknowledged corporate lawyer in Guernsey and regularly advises banks and mutual funds. He serves as a director on many Guernsey-based mutual fund companies and investment companies.
Career
Nigel qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1974. He was called to the Guernsey Bar as an Advocate in 1975. Nigel joined the firm in 1974 and became a partner in 1977. On the 1st July 2008 he became a consultant to the firm. Nigel is also a Notary Public.
Nigel was named as one of the world's leading investment funds lawyers in the 'Guide to the World’s Leading Investment Funds Lawyers', part of the Expert Guides series, in 2010.
