Experience
Robin deals with all corporate and finance matters, with a focus on finance and corporate structuring and investment products. He advises both local and global banks and organisations, including publically traded companies. Robin regularly acts for funders and borrowers in relation to financing transactions involving Jersey structures, including corporates, limited partnerships, and unit trusts. He has significant experience of tax based structured finance and in relation to the financing of both private equity funds and other Jersey investment holding structures. He also has experience advising in relation to the establishment, transfer and redomiciliation of banking business in Jersey. Robin is a director of Carey Olsen Corporate Finance Limited which provides sponsor services in respect of Channel Island Stock Exchange Listings.
Career
Prior to joining Carey Olsen in February 2008, Robin spent six years with another leading Jersey law firm. Robin is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, a Jersey Advocate and was educated at King's College, London.
