39 Carey Olsen lawyers recognised in latest IFLR1000 rankings

Four more lawyers from across the Carey Olsen group have been recognised for the first time in the latest edition of IFLR1000 – bringing the total number of lawyers in the firm to be ranked by the industry guide to 39.

In addition, Jersey partners Simon Marks, Rob Milner and James Mulholland are now recognised as 'Market Leaders', while fellow Jersey partner James Willmott and Cayman Islands partner Richard Munden are both now 'Highly Regarded' individuals.

The four new additions to the IFLR rankings are counsels Fiona Dalton (Jersey), Elizabeth Killeen (British Virgin Islands) and Claire Le Quesne (Jersey) and senior associate Nienke Malan (Jersey) have all entered the 2021 ranking as 'Rising Stars'.

In total, Carey Olsen now has six lawyers considered to be 'Market Leaders', 21 'Highly Regarded', eight 'Rising Stars', two 'Notable Practitioners' and two 'Expert Consultants'.

This includes the Guernsey and Jersey offices maintaining their respective Tier 1 practice area rankings for both 'financial and corporate' and 'investment funds' work.

The International Financial Law Review guide is the only legal directory solely focused on ranking law firms and lawyers on the basis of financial and corporate transactional work. For this year's edition, researchers canvassed clients for opinion on the local legal markets in more than 120 jurisdictions.
