Carey Olsen corporate lawyer Johanna Murphy has been promoted to senior associate in the firm's British Virgin Islands (BVI) office.

Johanna Murphy advises clients on a range of corporate and finance matters in the BVI, including real estate finance, fund finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and the sale and purchase of real estate. She also specialises in advising international financial institutions and corporate borrowers in relation to real estate finance involving BVI structures and private equity transactions.

Clinton Hempel, managing partner of Carey Olsen's BVI office, said: "Johanna has made an enormous contribution to Carey Olsen's corporate and finance law offering in the BVI and her well-deserved promotion not only reflects her high level of expertise but also her dedication to the firm and its clients."
