Carey Olsen Bermuda's Keith Robinson to speak at global conferences
Carey Olsen Bermuda partner Keith Robinson is set to speak at various global conferences in the coming weeks, including The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law (TIAETL) annual meeting in Japan.
Mr Robinson, who is one of Bermuda's leading private client lawyers and one of only two Bermuda lawyers to have a top ranking in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide, will be speaking on Tax Information Exchange Agreements at the TIAETL event, which takes place in Tokyo on 20 – 23 May.
Prior to that, he will be speaking at Transcontinental Trusts 2019 in Geneva alongside Elspeth Talbot Rice QC of XXIV Old Buildings on the issues most likely to dominate the next 12 months in the arena of trust litigation. His third speaking engagement is at the international contentious trusts conference 'Trusts under the hammer' in Barcelona, Spain on 13 May.
Keith said: "It is always a privilege to speak at international conferences and represent not only Carey Olsen Bermuda but also Bermuda itself as a leading trusts domicile. Speaking opportunities like these provide the perfect platform to showcase Bermuda's strengths in the trusts and private wealth industry, the growth of Carey Olsen Bermuda's private wealth practice and to engage with thought leaders from the sector."
In addition to his speaking engagements, Keith will also be hosting a networking drinks reception in Hong Kong alongside Carey Olsen Bermuda colleague Henry Tucker on Thursday 16 May. The event, which will be attended by private clients and intermediaries, is being held in response to Carey Olsen's growing private wealth offering in Singapore and Hong Kong where the group has had offices since 2015 and 2016 respectively.
