Carey Olsen expands BVI and Cayman trust law capabilities

Carey Olsen's trust capabilities in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and the Cayman Islands have been expanded with the appointment of new associate Graham Stoute who has joined the firm's Cayman office.

Graham is a trusts and estates specialist with a background in UK tax and has been practising in the Cayman Islands for the last four years, advising on a range of both contentious and non-contentious trusts and estates matters.

Graham said of his appointment: "Joining an offshore law firm of Carey Olsen's calibre is a fantastic opportunity and I look forward to replicating the high quality of fiduciary advice already provided in Guernsey and Jersey in both the BVI and the Cayman Islands."

Nick Bullmore, a partner in the Cayman Islands office added: "It is a very exciting time for the recently established Carey Olsen offices in the BVI and Cayman Islands. We have been expanding rapidly in response to client demand and are pleased now to be able to add contentious and non-contentious trust advice to the list of services that we already offer. Graham is a well-respected practitioner and is a welcome addition to our team."
