Carey Olsen Singapore pair to lead AIMA fund manager briefing on Guernsey and Jersey offering
Carey Olsen counsel Andrew Tually and senior associate Susan McKinstray are to host the latest Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) briefing for Asia-Pacific (APAC) fund managers.
The AIMA webinar, which takes places on Wednesday 26 August, will discuss why Guernsey and Jersey are becoming more relevant to APAC managers looking to take advantage of investment and fundraising opportunities in the UK and Europe and recent initiatives to fast-track businesses that wish to move there.
Andrew and Susan, who are both members of Carey Olsen's corporate team in Singapore, will also share their own experiences working alongside onshore advisers to create fund structures that suit the needs of both managers and investors.
Carey Olsen, which is amongst the fastest growing offshore firms in Asia, supports its Asian-based clients with on-the-ground legal advice on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey – the only offshore law firm with this capability in Asia.
