Carey Olsen's Fay Warrilow sworn in as Guernsey advocate
Carey Olsen associate Fay Warrilow has been admitted as an advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey.
Advocate Warrilow, who is a member of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice, has successfully completed the Guernsey Bar exams and the Certificat d’Études Juridiques Françaises et Normandes at the University of Caen. She was called to the Guernsey Bar at a swearing in ceremony at the Royal Court on Monday 5 November.
A Cambridge graduate, Advocate Warrilow joined Carey Olsen in 2011 before completing a General Diploma in Law and the Bar Professional Training Course. During her time with the firm, she has specialised in contentious and non-contentious employment and intellectual property law advice and has developed a broad commercial litigation practice.
Karen Le Cras, head of Carey Olsen's litigation and dispute resolution group in Guernsey, said: "Having watched Fay's career progress and develop since she joined Carey Olsen, we are incredibly proud to see her called as a Guernsey advocate after successfully completing her Guernsey Bar examinations. She is a very committed lawyer and a valuable part of the litigation and dispute resolution team."
