On 4 September 2017, the Royal Court of Guernsey handed down one of the most anticipated judgments in recent Guernsey jurisprudence, Carlyle Capital Corporation Limited (in Liquidation) and others v. Conway and others [2017].
After seven years of court proceedings, the judgment has memorialised, with legal rigour and analysis, fundamental principles of company law as affects directors and the companies they serve. Running to 529 pages, the sheer volume of this judgment is difficult to digest.
