New offices for Carey Olsen Singapore

Carey Olsen Singapore has relocated into newly refurbished, larger offices in Ocean Financial Centre, marking another important milestone for the offshore law firm's Singapore office, which launched in 2015.

The office has been bolstered by a number of appointments over the past year and is now the fastest growing of all offshore law firms in Singapore, with its litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice also the largest of any equivalent offshore team in Singapore. It is also the only office in Asia to offer on-the-ground legal advice on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands and Jersey.

Since the beginning of this year, Carey Olsen Singapore has secured a Tier One ranking in the latest edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific Guide and won an international firm award for its dispute resolution (cross-border) practice at the China Business Law Awards. Further recognition includes the Singapore corporate team winning a China Business Law Journal Deal of the Year Award for its advice to Full Truck Alliance on the Cayman Islands regulatory and legal aspects in connection with the Chinese startup's US$1.7 billion share issue - the largest share issue of its kind in China last year.

Singapore managing partner and head of corporate in Asia, Anthony McKenzie, said: "To be upsizing again so quickly is a reflection of our hard work and commitment to the Asia market. I would like to express our gratitude to our fantastic team and to our clients for their steadfast support."

James Noble, partner and head of litigation, insolvency and restructuring in Asia, added: "Moving into our new state-of-the-art offices is the latest of a series of developments for us in Singapore and we can now look ahead with great excitement as we implement our plans for further growth across all service lines."

The Carey Olsen group is committed to expanding its Asia footprint and has accomplished rapid growth across both Singapore and Hong Kong offices, which has included employing PRC qualified lawyers in both offices from top tier firms to interface with mainland Chinese clients and intermediaries.

Carey Olsen's new address in Singapore is: Carey Olsen Singapore LLP, 10 Collyer Quay #29-10, Ocean Financial Centre, Singapore 049315.
