Senior hire for Carey Olsen's dispute resolution team in the Cayman Islands

Carey Olsen has appointed senior litigator James Eggleton as counsel in its Cayman Islands dispute resolution, litigation and insolvency practice.

James advises on all aspects of cross-border insolvency and contentious commercial matters, with a particular focus on complex financial services, funds and shareholder disputes. He also has specialist experience of shareholder 'fair value' appraisal petitions issued under Section 238 of the Cayman Islands Companies Act. He is a Fellow of INSOL International.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen, James worked in the financial markets disputes practice of Dentons in London. He relocated to the Cayman Islands in 2018, where he spent four years with another leading offshore law firm.
