Calvin Crilly


Calvin is an associate in Carey Olsen's Jersey corporate team. He assists with matters relating to corporate law and governance, financing and investment funds.

His main area of practice focuses on advice relating to the legal and regulatory aspects of fund launches, their maintenance, restructuring and winding up. Calvin also has experience in both private and bank financing, acting for both borrowers and lenders.

He has taken instruction from a wide variety of clients including a number of trust companies, global investment banks, multinational entities as well as startups.



Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2018 Calvin worked in the legal department of an international bank and for another offshore law firm in their British Virgin Islands and Jersey office.

He received a BA in economics and legal science prior to achieving a LLB (Honours) from the National University of Ireland Galway. He qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2010 and in England and Wales and the British Virgin Irelands in 2017.
