Gemma Campbell

Senior Associate

Gemma is a senior associate in the corporate and finance team. Gemma has a wide range of experience on corporate matters and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on the establishment, management, structuring and restructuring of both open-ended and closed-ended investment funds. Gemma has experience in acting for both international and local clients in relation to complex and high value corporate transactions.

Gemma has been recognised as a "Rising Star" by the Legal 500 UK for her work in investment funds for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Gemma is also a member of the Guernsey Bar Council.

Career

Gemma joined Carey Olsen in 2013, having previously spent seven years with another leading offshore law firm in Guernsey.

Gemma was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009 and was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2011. Gemma also obtained a Masters in Professional Legal Practice in 2012 and holds the CISI Certificate in Islamic Finance.
