Joyce Waddell-Dublin

Joyce is a Litigation Support Manager/Paralegal within the  dispute resolution team of Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited. With over ten years’ experience within the legal profession, Joyce has supported some of the top UK Appeals Judges on the Court of Appeal Panel for Bermuda as well as the Chief Justice of Bermuda and Puisne Judges. Joyce assists with various areas within the  dispute resolution department having been exposed to a variety of cases with the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. In addition to being a paralegal, Joyce manages the growing despute resolution team.

Joyce started her career at the Supreme Court of Bermuda as the Clerk to the Court of Appeal and was promoted to the Administrative Officer of the Court of Appeal, overseeing the administration of appeals to the highest Court on island. She worked closely with the Appeals Justices, Supreme Court Justices and the Registrar of the Courts. Her knowledge of the court system, and in particular the Appeals system, is extensive. Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda, she worked with a local firm where she gained further experience in Court litigation and probate practices.

Joyce has completed her CILEX Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice and is pursuing the Level 3 Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. She has obtained an Associate in Arts (Sociology) and is also a Qualified Paralegal with the Institute of Paralegals.
