Michael is Counsel within the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Jersey.
He has experience in a wide range of dispute resolution work encompassing commercial, corporate, trust and financial services disputes, including administrative applications involving trustees, beneficiaries and protectors, breach of trust actions and insolvency related issues.
Michael represented two of the plaintiffs in Jersey's longest-running civil trial (a breach of trust action).
Having served in the Royal Air Force, Michael read law at Cambridge University and worked in the City of London. He moved to Jersey (1999), where he qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey (2004). He is also qualified as a Jersey Notary Public (2002) and a Solicitor (England and Wales (non-practising)).
Michael joined Carey Olsen from First Names Group where he was a Client Services Director responsible for a portfolio of complex corporate and trust structures, and UHNWIs.
