Rob is counsel in the corporate and finance group of Carey Olsen in the Cayman Islands and advises on all corporate and commercial aspects of Cayman Islands law, including in the context of M&A and joint venture transactions, private equity and hedge funds, and Eurobond and other listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange. Rob also has significant experience advising in relation to overseas-listed Cayman Islands companies (including companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, London Stock Exchange and the Australian Securities Exchange), and in relation to Cayman Islands regulatory compliance.
From 2007 until joining Carey Olsen in 2015, Rob worked for Slaughter and May in London, where his work was focussed on equity capital markets, public takeovers, joint ventures and private M&A.
Rob was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2009 (currently non-practising) and as an attorney-at-law of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 2015. Rob is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford.Recent Briefings
