The International Stock Exchange (TISE) and the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX) are both well-established, leading offshore exchanges.
Businesses choose to list on TISE (formerly the Channel Islands Stock Exchange (CISE)) or the CSX due to the low cost, speed, ease and flexibility of the listing process.
Carey Olsen’s listing services teams are well versed in acting as listing sponsor (in relation to TISE listings) and listing agent (in relation to CSX listings) to a significant number of issuers and investment funds’ listings on TISE and the CSX. Our teams offer a professional, timely, cost-effective and personalised service because of the listings expertise of our lawyers and our knowledge of the people and processes at TISE and the CSX.
Carey Olsen's listing teams have advised on a number of "firsts" including the first listing of sovereign debt and the first listing of high yield bonds on TISE. We have also acted on several of the largest Eurobond listings on the CSX.
The International Stock Exchange (TISE)
TISE provides listings for a range of securities including investment funds, debt instruments and shares. TISE brings the expertise available in the Channel Islands to the growing number of international businesses requiring first class offshore financial services within the European time-zone while remaining outside the EU.
Carey Olsen was the leading TISE listing sponsor in 2016 (both by new issuers and number of new securities listed). Figures released by TISE reveal that more than 470 securities were listed on the TISE in 2016, with Carey Olsen working with issuers to sponsor over a third of the total number of listings achieved.
The Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX)
The CSX was set up in 1996 and is the leading offshore exchange in a North American time zone for the listing of investment funds, specialist debt securities, Eurobonds and risk-related securities. The CSX provides a listing facility and screen-based trading that can be accessed by broker members.
