David is a senior legal manager in Carey Olsen's corporate and finance practice, based in Hong Kong. He has broad experience across a range of corporate matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and privatisations, initial public offerings and securities issues, pre-IPO restructuring, secondary fund raising and other general commercial and compliance matters.
David is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Pending Hong Kong Law Society Registration, David's role will transition to Counsel.

Career
Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2026, David was a Managing Associate in the corporate department of a leading international law firm in Hong Kong. He has also worked as an associate in a magic circle firm and a leading US law firm in Hong Kong.
David holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2017 (non-practising).
