Articled Clerk Training Program
As part of our commitment to supporting Caymanians in their professional development, we are recruiting talented individuals with the determination to succeed as part a pioneering and highly-regarded team.
Our Articled Clerk training program will provide you with invaluable insight and commercial experience under the leadership of our highly-regarded Cayman Islands lawyers.
The program comprises placements or 'seats' within three practice areas, with performance reviews and appraisals scheduled at regular intervals. You will gain insight into both contentious and non-contentious areas, giving you a broad understanding of each legal discipline.
The core skills that you will be developing include:
- Advocacy and oral presentation
- Case and transaction management
- Client care and practice support
- Professional Conduct and Ethics
- Communications skills
- Interviewing and advising
Successful applicants will be paid a competitive salary and be eligible for the statutory benefits of a permanent position within our firm.
Desired skills and experience
You must have enrolled in the Professional Practice Course (or equivalent) and have earned a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent).
Applicants should have a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 honours classification) and have enrolled in the Professional Practice Course (or equivalent), recognised by the Legal Advisory Council of the Cayman Islands.
