Marketing & Business Development Assistant (VA546)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Business Development Assistant to join our Guernsey office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of marketing and business development plans for our Trust and Private Wealth (TPW) and Dispute Resolution (DR) teams, while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities.


Key responsibilities:

Marketing & BD Support

  • Assist the Associate Director and wider M&BD team in implementing strategic initiatives
  • ​Provide support across a variety of marketing and CSR projects

​Events

  • ​Help plan and deliver client events, webinars, and industry conferences
  • Draft invitations, manage RSVPs, and liaise with venues and suppliers
  • Attend events and provide front-of-house support
  • Research costs and logistics for budgeting purposes


CRM & Campaigns

  • ​Support targeted email marketing campaigns using Vulture
  • Maintain accurate contact and activity records in the CRM system

Design & Collateral

  • Format and brand legal briefings, lawyer profiles, and marketing materials using InDesign
  • Coordinate with external designers and legal publications

Digital & Social Media

  • ​Upload content to the website following SEO best practices
  • ​Create LinkedIn posts to promote legal briefings and events
  • ​Support digital and web projects as needed

General Administration

  • Process invoices and arrange payments
  • ​Manage branded merchandise stock and courier logistics
  • Coordinate internal communications for team changes across jurisdictions


What We’re Looking For

  • ​Graduate (2:1 or above) preferred, though exceptional A-level or college leavers will be considered
  • ​Experience in financial or professional services marketing is welcome but not essential
  • ​Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • ​Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • ​Proficiency in Microsoft Office (training provided for in-house systems)
  • ​A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
