Receptionist (VA553)

We are looking for a versatile receptionist with a friendly and professional manner to help assist with front desk operations in our Jersey office.

The ideal candidate should be a quick learner with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to change, and possess a strong work ethic. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask are essential.

Key duties include but not limited to:

  • Answering the switchboard, transferring calls or taking such other action as appropriate
  • ​Acting as the first point of contact for clients and dealing with their requirements in a timely and efficient manner
  • Dealing with courier collections and deliveries 
  • Maintaining relevant diaries on Microsoft Outlook and, in particular, ensuring that meeting rooms are booked where necessary 
  • As and when reception duties permit but likely to be daily, provide assistance to the main facilities team.
  • Booking travel and accommodation for both internal and external clients where required.
  • Activities will include:
    • checking and replenishing stocks in the staff and client kitchens
    • making internal and external post and document deliveries
    • maintaining stocks of first aid supplies and regular checks of the AED

Experience in a similar reception role would be advantageous, with the ability to work under pressure and often to tight deadlines. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word with excellent communication and organisation skills is essential. 

This role's working hours are 09:00 - 18:00.
