Tyrone is an associate in the dispute resolution and insolvency team based in the British Virgin Islands.

He has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of commercial litigation, including issues arising in arbitration, insolvency proceedings, shareholder disputes, trusts, and fraud and asset tracing. 

Career

Prior to joining the team at Carey Olsen, Tyrone worked at another BVI offshore law firm where he handled several claims before the BVI Commercial Court and the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal. 

He previously worked as a Judicial Counsel at the Caribbean Court of Justice, where he assisted judges with deciding civil and criminal law appeals from several Caribbean states as well as cross- border matters arising under the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) regional economic treaty. 

Tyrone lectured and conducted seminars in the LLB programme at the University of the West Indies between 2014 and 2019. Recently, he served as a public interest research fellow at the CARICOM Secretariat through the NYU LLM Public Interest Fellowship. He has also worked closely with a network of regional heads of judiciary and other legal officers in organising major Caribbean law conferences.
