Winnie Lo

Winnie is a senior associate in our dispute resolution and insolvency team, and is based in Hong Kong.

Her practice focuses on high-value and complex commercial disputes including fraud and asset tracing, shareholder and director disputes and insolvency-related matters. She regularly advises shareholders, directors, creditors and insolvency practitioners on complex legal issues that span multiple jurisdictions.

Winnie also has a strong trust and probate practice, including cross border estate disputes. She regularly guides trustees, personal representatives and beneficiaries through complex trust and estate administration issues involving multiple jurisdictions, providing clear and pragmatic advice in sensitive and contentious situations.

Winnie is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen, Winnie practiced as a dispute resolution associate at a leading local law firm in Hong Kong.

She graduated with a Law degree with honours from The University of Hong Kong. She was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2017 (currently not practicing). In 2023, she was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (currently non-practising) and a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands). She is also a Registered Associate of Bermuda.
