2 years compliance experience, especially in AML/CFT and general on-boarding processes.
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join either our Guernsey or Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the client take-on process including, but not limited to obtaining relevant customer due diligence documentation.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Collation of relevant documentation to verify the identity of clients of Carey Olsen.
- Undertaking searches of relevant databases, open-source internet and bespoke internal systems and analysis of results.
- Obtaining clarification from partners and fee earners in relation to the scope of particular matters and advising on CDD documentation required.
- Liaison with other internal and external peers in relation to CDD documentation requirements.
- Preparation of due diligence profile forms for submission to matter partners within the law firm and the Head/Deputy Head of Risk & Compliance.
The successful candidate will have two years' compliance experience, especially in AML / CFT and general on-boarding processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications particularly Excel and Word would be desired.
