Marketing Assistant - TPW, Dispute Resolution, and Partnership events (VA870)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Jersey office. The post holder will support the Assistant Manager on a wide range of day-to-day marketing activities; help the Trusts and Private Wealth, Dispute Resolution, Property and Employment practice teams deliver their marketing plans, events and client communications; and provide support on Carey Olsen partnership events and activities when needed

Principal duties will include:

Marketing Plans 

  • Support the implementation of specific and agreed initiatives within the global dispute resolution, trusts and private wealth, property and employment law practice plans


Events

  • Support research, planning and implementation of practice area events – both organised by Carey Olsen and third-party industry organisations, including industry conferences, client hospitality events and seminars/webinars
  • Draft invitations, reminder campaigns and follow up emails and manage RSVPs
  • Liaise with venues and third-party suppliers as required, attend, provide front of house support at CO events as required (such as event registration and hosting)
  • Book delegate places for conferences and seminars
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by researching costs and details for specific events

CRM & email marketing campaigns

  • Support the development of targeted marketing campaigns, including pulling distribution lists from the CRM, using the e-marketing system (Vuture) and reporting on results
  • Ensure contact details and activities up to date on our CRM system

Design and collateral

  • Format and brand client legal briefings, lawyer profiles and other documents using InDesign
  • Assist with advertising campaigns (print, digital, video) and liaise with third party legal industry publications
  • Instruct and liaise with our third-party design agency on collateral when required


Website and social

  • Upload client briefings, events and lawyer profiles to the website following SEO best practice and update existing content when required
  • Assist the Brand and Digital/Web team on projects
  • Create posts for the firm's LinkedIn page regarding new legal briefings and events for the corporate practice group

General support

  • Support the Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development (Jersey) on various Partnership events and activities as required
  • General administration tasks associated with marketing
  • Processing and checking invoices, arranging payments
  • Manage local stock of branded merchandise and organise courier packages as required
  • Carrying out the firm process for new joiners, leavers, movers and promotions in the relevant practice groups for multiple jurisdictions

Experience and Professional Qualifications:

  • Some experience of working in a financial or professional services marketing team welcome, but not essential
  • Graduate level (2:1 or above) preferred
  • Exceptional A level or college leaver consideredOpportunity to take on CIM qualifications (post probation)
