As an L1 Service Desk Analyst in Guernsey, you will be the first point of contact for technology incidents, queries and requests across Carey Olsen’s offices. You will resolve issues where possible, keep users informed and provide Level 2 colleagues with clear information when escalation is needed.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Log, manage and respond to requests within agreed service standards and SLAs.
- Troubleshoot issues involving in-house software, PCs, printers and mobile devices.
- Own user problems through to resolution or escalation, providing timely progress updates.
- Maintain accurate technology records, knowledge articles, FAQs and self-help guidance.
- Contribute to application and infrastructure changes while recognising and escalating cyber security concerns.
What you’ll bring
- A genuine interest in technology and a customer service background.
- Clear, polite telephone and email communication.
- The ability to explain technical information in business-friendly language.
- Analytical problem-solving skills; knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office would be beneficial.

What we offer in return
Process and technical training will be provided. The role is office-based in Guernsey, working 09:00–17:30 with a 90-minute lunch break. Occasional weekend or out-of-hours work is required for system changes and upgrades and is paid at overtime rates.
