Carey Olsen attending STEP Asia conference 2023
STEP Asia returns this year on 14-15 November at the Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong SAR.
Guernsey counsel Joanna Caen and Singapore counsel Rachel Yao will be attending this year's conference, which has a focus on opportunities in the private wealth industry.
The event will bring together speakers and attendees from around the world to discuss topics relevant to the wealth management community.
Joanna will be speaking on a panel session dedicated to the "impact of firewall legislation on forced heirship and community property claims" on the first day of the conference. Other topics covered include ensuring effective family office governance, the duties of protectors and political risk protection.
