Carey Olsen partner Richard Munden to speak at Women in Blockchain panel session
Carey Olsen Cayman partner Richard Munden will be participating in a panel discussion hosted by Women in Blockchain, titled "Beyond the License: The VASP Evolution."
The event will take place on Thursday 30 October at the Cayman Islands Yacht Club.
Richard will be joined by Isabel Gumeyi, Head, VASP and Fintech Innovation Unit, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, for a conversation on the evolving digital asset landscape.
The session will explore what comes after obtaining a VASP licence, including:
- Maturing compliance frameworks
- Strengthening governance practices
- Managing operational risk amid rapidly changing regulatory expectations
The panel will be moderated by Danielle Pienaar, Web3 & Blockchain Director at Verdant Management.
