Carey Olsen speaking at London Arbitration Week 2025
Carey Olsen partner Tim Wright is speaking at London Arbitration Week which is taking place on 1-5 December 2025 across various different venues in London.
Carey Olsen is pleased to be sponsoring the event, which has a week long calendar of events to bring together leading arbitrators, practitioners, and industry experts from around the world to look at a range of topics.
On Thursday 4 December, Carey Olsen and Latham & Watkins are hosting a joint seminar, titled "Winning the battle of the courts: strategic manoeuvres in international arbitration". Carey Olsen partner Tim Wright will join a panel of speakers to look at how to gain strategic advantage by turning to national courts either to support or undermine arbitration or proceedings in other jurisdictions, in the context of international commercial disputes involving onshore and offshore assets. They will also explore enforcement of interim remedies, and improving arbitration by working with IPs early on in proceedings to identify assets and relevant jurisdictions.
