Employment workshops on the proposals for Guernsey's new discrimination regime

Carey Olsen will be holding two Employment Breakfast Workshops to discuss the multi-ground discrimination regime that the States of Guernsey proposes to introduce.

Carey Olsen partner Elaine Gray, counsel Carly Parrott, associates Steven Balmer, and Lois Madden will be hosting our Employment Workshops, which will take place on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 September 2019.

We are now part-way through a 12-week public consultation process into the proposals, a legislation likely to be the most significant change to Guernsey's employment regime in two decades. It is vitally important that all stakeholders take this opportunity to understand and shape what is proposed.

The aim of the workshops is to provide a strong understanding of the proposals, to idendify any concerns, and discuss any questions. This will enable us to provide comprehensive and meaningful feedback to the States from Guernsey's business community.
