Erinn is a senior associate in Carey Olsen's corporate team in Bermuda. She advises on a broad range of Bermuda corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, acting for multinational companies including regulated entities in various sectors, financial institutions, and other industry participants.

Her practice encompasses domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance and other insurance-related transactions, corporate restructurings, financings, corporate governance matters, and general corporate advisory work. Erinn has particular experience advising on Bermuda's regulatory framework across a range of sectors, including insurance, investment business, investment funds, corporate income tax, economic substance, and beneficial ownership and provides regulatory analysis in connection with corporate transactions, reorganisations, and ongoing business operations.

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in November 2023, Erinn practiced at a leading Canadian law firm, working primarily in the corporate and commercial practice groups with a focus on contract drafting, large-scale energy projects, regulatory compliance, and various commercial transactions. Prior to this, she completed a clerkship with the Court of Appeal of Alberta.

Erinn has a Master of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University (Toronto, Ontario) specialising in Business Law and Energy and Infrastructure Law, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Alberta), and a Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction) from the University of Alberta. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta (currently non-practising).
