Carey Olsen advises on £620 million Quinbrook Renewables Impact Fund

Carey Olsen has advised Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners ("Quinbrook") on the final close of the £620 million Quinbrook Renewables Impact Fund ("the Fund"), a significant increase on the Fund's original £500 million target.

Quinbrook is a specialist investment manager focused on the infrastructure needed to transition to low carbon and renewable energy. The Fund, which was marketed exclusively to UK investors, aligns with the UK Government's ambition to achieve a fully decarbonised power system by 2035. The Fund's portfolio, which includes a number of large scale solar and battery storage projects, is expected to support more than 3,300 jobs and generate enough electricity to power over 102,000 UK homes per year.

The Carey Olsen Jersey investment funds team has worked with Quinbrook since it was established in 2015. Partner Christopher Griffin, associate Niamh Murphy and trainee Jonathan Fernandes advised on all Jersey aspects of the fund formation and successful closing. The team worked alongside onshore counsel Akin Gump.
