Carey Olsen promotes dispute resolution lawyer Oliver MacKay to partner in Bermuda office
Carey Olsen is pleased to announce that it has promoted Bermuda dispute resolution and litigation lawyer Oliver MacKay to the role of partner.
Oliver joined Carey Olsen in 2020, from leading international law firm DLA Piper. He specialises in contentious (re)insurance, trusts and regulatory matters (including sanctions advice), acting for corporate clients, financial institutions, (re)insurers, brokers, trustees, private individuals and families in Bermuda and internationally. He has advised on, and appeared in, significant disputes in the Supreme Court of Bermuda and the Court of Appeal for Bermuda. Oliver's practice also covers and restructuring and insolvency and arbitration.
On his appointment, Oliver commented: "To be made a partner within our exceptional Bermuda dispute resolution and litigation team is a very proud moment for me.
