Dealing with Discrimination – the Guernsey Employer's Guide - GTA University Centre Seminar
Natasha Newell, Lois Madden and Tarina Le Boutillier will be presenting "Dealing with Discrimination – the Guernsey Employer's Guide" at a seminar organised by the GTA University Centre for the HR Forum on Thursday 13 October 2022.
This seminar will examine the current status of anti-discrimination law in Guernsey and developments on the horizon. Natasha Newell, Lois Madden and Tarina Le Boutillier will discuss the practical application of the anti-discrimination law in the workplace today, and what employers should be thinking about with the future in mind.
The session will include:
- A refresher of the fundamentals of Guernsey's current regime and an analysis of how it works in practice.
- Key points of the draft anti-discrimination Ordinance, and how to prepare for its expected implementation in 2023.
- Practical advice on steps organisations can take in anticipation of the new Ordinance coming into force.
