Carey Olsen to sponsor the Guernsey IoD Mid Term event: Governance and Artificial Intelligence
Carey Olsen will again be the headline sponsor of the Guernsey IoD mid-term event taking place on 13 March 2024 at St Pierre Park Hotel.
The Guernsey Branch of the Institute of Directors will focus its 2024 mid-term event on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and corporate governance.
The morning event, AI in the Boardroom: Navigating a New Frontier in Governance, will welcome two specialist speakers: Bob Semple, Chartered Director and Consultant at the Corporate Governance Institute, will be in Guernsey, and Dr Roger Barker, Director of Policy and Corporate Governance at the IoD, is joining online. The speakers will explore AI technologies' ethical, legal and governance challenges, and attendees will gain a deeper understanding of AI's potential impact on business models.
