Matthew Rush

Matthew is the Managing Director of CO Services Cayman Limited. Based in the Cayman Islands, Matt is responsible for the provision of registered office and corporate services in Cayman and oversees operations for the corporate services business across Carey Olsen’s Caribbean and Asia Pacific regions.

With over 15 years of experience in the legal and corporate services industry, Matt has extensive expertise in corporate governance, compliance, entity management, and anti-money laundering matters. He has supported a wide range of clients, including multi-national corporations, global financial institutions, investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and private clients, in establishing and maintaining entities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Matt’s broad expertise enables him to navigate the complexities of corporate administration, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, delivering tailored solutions aligned with clients’ business goals and local obligations.

Before joining Carey Olsen, Matt served as a Commercial Director at Intertrust Group (now part of CSC), a global provider of corporate and fund services. In that role, he led commercial strategy, drove regional business development, and introduced new products and processes to enhance client service and operational performance.

Earlier in his career, Matt worked at Allen & Overy in New York and Washington, D.C., and at another leading offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands, where he specialised in strategic business development and client engagement initiatives.
