Amelia Tan to speak at SARIPA Business Rescue & Corporate Restructuring Summit 2024
Carey Olsen Singapore counsel, Amelia Tan, will be participating as a virtual speaker at the Business Rescue & Corporate Restructuring Summit organised by the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association NPC on Monday 30 September 2024.
Amelia will be speaking on the panel 'Crossing borders: international perspectives on formal restructurings' which discusses the legal requirements for recognition of South African restructuring proceedings abroad, country-specific restructuring mechanisms that are available abroad for South African companies with multijurisdictional businesses, how this area of law has evolved abroad, and how to optimise formal restructurings in South Africa.
