Milambo Makani

Milambo is an associate in the corporate group of Carey Olsen's Cayman Islands office. He advises early-stage and late-stage companies on a wide variety of corporate matters including entity formation, venture capital, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.  Milambo works closely with founders and management to guide them through key transactions and strategic decisions throughout the company lifecycle.

Before joining Carey Olsen in 2024, Milambo worked as In-house Legal Counsel at a private equity backed real estate company and as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in London.

He also completed a secondment at an international banking institution in the UK.

Milambo holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Durham and was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in September 2021.
