Andrea Walters

Andrea is an Associate in our BVI Corporate and Finance team and is based in our British Virgin Islands office.

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2025 on our BVI Corporate and Finance team, Andrea spent over seven years in the BVI office of Maples and Calder, where she was an associate in the litigation team for four of those years.

She has BVI litigation experience and practised in a wide range of contentious matters, including shareholder disputes, contractual claims, insolvency,  enforcement of foreign judgments and non-contentious probate work.

Andrea has appeared as junior counsel before the BVI High Court, Commercial Court and ECSC Court of Appeal. She has acted for a wide range of clients including high net worth individuals, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners.

Andrea was admitted as a barrister in the British Virgin Islands in 2018.
