Carey Olsen Singapore counsel Kate Lan will be speaking at the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC) KL ADR Week Event: Distinctive Features of the SIAC Rules 2025: Key Insights for Malaysian Businesses.
The hybrid event is held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of the KL ADR Week. The panel will share insights with Malaysian businesses in relation to the new SIAC Rules 2025 and how the businesses can leverage the new rules to achieve positive outcomes in cross-border disputes.
Kate is an appointed arbitrator by the SIAC and a member of SIAC’s Reserve Panel of Arbitrators. She is also the first offshore lawyer selected to serve as one of the three Regional Leads for APAC on the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC) Council and the only Regional Lead based in Singapore.
