Carey Olsen advises Enter on US$35 million Series A funding round
Carey Olsen has advised Enter, a Brazil-based AI legal platform for enterprises, on its US$35 million Series A funding round, which values the company at US$350 million and marks the largest AI-focused investment recorded in Brazil to date.
Founded in 2023, Enter specialises in using AI to help businesses manage high volumes of litigation by handling case intake, fraud detection, settlement recommendations, drafting defences, and interpreting rulings. Enter will use the funds to expand into complex labour disputes, improve predictive AI capabilities, and scale its operations across Latin America.
The funding round was co-led by Silicon Valley investment managers Founders Fund and Sequoia Capital, with local funds ONEVC and Atlantico also participating.
Enter already serves 15 publicly listed companies, including Nubank, Itaú, Santander, Mercado Libre, LATAM, Magazine Luiza, Banco Pan, and Airbnb, and is expected to process more than 250,000 new cases in 2025 alone.
The Carey Olsen Cayman Islands corporate team advising Enter on the transaction comprised partner Trevor McCabe and senior associate Evan Stitt.
Trevor McCabe commented: "Enter has tapped into a huge market opportunity in Brazil's legal sector, with the success of this round highlighting the rising demand for AI tools which automate legal processes and reduce litigation costs. Carey Olsen has had the privilege of advising many innovative technology-focused businesses in Latin America, and we look forward to observing how this milestone investment enables Enter to continue building its impressive client base and shape the future of legal AI in this region."
