Carey Olsen advises International Finance Corporation on US$30 million Series B investment in ISA Saúde

Carey Olsen has advised International Finance Corporation ("IFC") on its investment in ISA Saúde's US$30 million Series B funding round, which also saw participation from IDB Lab, Dalus Capital and Endeavor Capital.

A member of the World Bank Group, IFC is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries.

ISA Saúde provides hospital-level medical care at home to more than 1,500 patients each day across 60 cities in Brazil. The company will use the additional capital to expand into more cities, strengthen B2B partnerships with Brazil's leading health insurers, increase its service portfolio, enhance patient experience through AI, and make strategic acquisitions.

The Carey Olsen corporate Cayman Islands team advising on the transaction comprised partner Trevor McCabe and senior associate Evan Stitt.

Trevor McCabe commented: "This investment marks the start of an exciting new chapter for ISA Saúde, opening up the opportunity for national expansion, technological advancement and stronger partnerships with the country's leading health providers. We are pleased to support IFC's backing of ISA Saude, which reflects IFC's commitment to advancing accessible, high-quality healthcare in Brazil and to tackling key challenges found in traditional healthcare systems."
