About

简历

Emily is an associate in Carey Olsen's trusts and private wealth team in the Cayman Islands.

Emily has an expansive cross-border private client practice, advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, beneficiaries, trustees, and family offices on a broad range of offshore wealth structuring and succession planning matters. Emily’s practice focuses on estate planning and the establishment, restructuring and ongoing administration of trusts, and she regularly advises on the creation and transfer of complex trust structures and the preservation of intergenerational wealth.

As part of her non-contentious practice, Emily also advises on probate and administration processes, and ancillary matters including capacity, executorship duties, and statutory succession frameworks.

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2026, Emily practised as a solicitor in the UK where she specialised in private client work, including wills, probate, tax planning and trust structuring. This background has provided her with a strong technical foundation and a practical understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families when managing wealth across jurisdictions.

Emily is also a qualified Notary Public in England and Wales, which complements her international practice and provides additional insight into the formalities and requirements of cross-border legal documentation.
