We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for Carey Olsen to leverage AI, automation and data-driven technologies, translating business needs into practical solutions that drive efficiency and value.
Based in Southampton, this role offers the opportunity to help shape and deliver innovative AI solutions across the business. Combining business analysis, stakeholder engagement and change support, you will play a key role in ensuring AI initiatives are successfully delivered, adopted and aligned with business objectives.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through AI, automation and data-driven solutions.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating them into clear solution specifications.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to support the design and delivery of AI-enabled solutions.
- Assess data requirements and support readiness activities to ensure successful implementation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and act as a key link between business and technology teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support testing, validation and implementation to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Assist with change management and user adoption activities to maximise business value.
- Ensure appropriate governance, risk management and compliance requirements are considered throughout delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis and AI delivery practices.
Candidate Profile:
We're seeking a proactive Business Analyst with experience in technology and business change projects. You'll be confident working with stakeholders, translating business needs into solutions, and helping deliver AI and digital initiatives that create real business value.
You should bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Experience delivering technology and business change projects.
- Experience with AI, data, analytics, automation or digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and requirements gathering.
- Good knowledge of AI technologies, data-driven solutions and automation.
- Strong data analysis skills and understanding of data quality principles.
- Experience working in regulated environments and managing risk and compliance considerations.
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across business, technology and governance teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI and process mapping tools.Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- BCS Business Analysis qualification (or working towards) preferred
- APM, Agile, AI, data or analytics-related certifications are advantageous.
