Precious Smith

Precious is an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation team at Carey Olsen in Bermuda. 

She has developed experience in insolvency and restructuring, civil and commercial disputes, bank and mortgage enforcement and debt recovery. Her insolvency experience includes both non-contentious and contentious matters, particularly assisting with and advising on liquidations, court applications and processes, creditor claims, asset recovery and related matters. She also advises on commercial disputes, contractual and enforcement issues as well as bank and mortgage recovery matters.

Precious has experience assisting clients throughout the debt recovery process, from pre-action correspondence and settlement through to court proceedings and enforcement. She takes a practical, commercially focused approach and is committed to providing clear, responsive and effect legal advice while fostering positive relations.

She is a member of INSOL International and the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association. 

Precious is a Bermudian lawyer who was called to the bar in 2022. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Buckingham, before completing a Master of Laws (in International and Commercial Law). She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, London Holborn.
