Alexandra advises on all aspects of Bermuda corporate and commercial law, specializing in corporate finance and corporate reorganisations. She has extensive experience acting for domestic and foreign financial institutions and corporate obligors on a variety of domestic and international financings including syndicated and bilateral financing transactions, asset-based financings, acquisition financings and securitizations. 

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen Bermuda, Alexandra was a corporate attorney at another commercial law firm in Bermuda. Prior to her arrival in Bermuda in 2017, she practiced law in Calgary at Miller Thomson LLP, a Canadian-wide national law firm. Alexandra was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2014 and was called to the Bermuda Bar in March 2020. She obtained her Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada and her Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall at York University in Toronto, Canada.
