Andrew Tually
Counsel
Andrew has over 12 years’ experience in connection with the structuring, formation and regulation of Guernsey and Cayman Islands collective investment schemes investing in private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure and hedge funds. He also advises upon significant and high value corporate and M&A transactions, including court-sanctioned schemes of arrangement, group restructures and migrations.
Andrew advises a wide range of fund managers across Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Andrew has been recognised as a "Rising Star" by the IFLR1000 for his work in private equity and hedge funds.
Career
Andrew joined Carey Olsen in 2007 having previously worked as a graduate lawyer with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in Australia.
Andrew has a Bachelor in Laws (2004) and a Bachelor in Economics (2001) from Adelaide University and qualified as a solicitor in South Australia (2004) and England & Wales (2009). Andrew also has a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment from Macquarie University (2019). Andrew was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2023.
