Cheri Minors is a senior associate in the dispute resolution practice and specializes in employment law. She advises on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Cheri was appointed in 2021 as a member of the Employment and Labour Relations Tribunal.

Cheri also assists the private wealth practice of Carey Olsen Bermuda with advising on various non-contentious trust and estate planning matters. Cheri has over ten years of experience in a wide range of areas including private client and trusts, regulatory and employment law.

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen in 2018, Cheri was the Legal Counsel and Group Compliance Manager for an international insurance company.

Cheri was called to the Bermuda Bar in 2011. She completed the Legal Practice Course in Manchester England and graduated from the University of Law (formerly the College of Law) with distinction. She completed her LLB in Canterbury England and graduated from the University of Kent with honors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Dalhousie University.
