Heather is a knowledgeable funds associate at Carey Olsen who collaborates with clients and their advisors to successfully launch investment funds by delivering organised and efficient solutions.

She advises clients throughout the life cycle of their funds, which includes assisting with the formation of private investment funds, co-investment funds and feeder funds, and facilitating the funds' investments in portfolio companies, as well as advising on fund operation and governance matters. She also has experience in managing a variety of carried interest and co-investment issues. 

Career

Prior to joining Carey Olsen, Heather trained at Aberdein Considine.

She obtained an LLB (Hons) in 2017, and previously a Law and Management BA in 2014, from Robert Gordon University. In 2018 Heather then went on to study her Master of Law (LLM) at New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts and completed her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen in 2019.
